Atlantic Used Oil Management Association (UOMA)
UOMA NL’s mission is to manage an economically, environmentally and socially efficient and responsible collection, processing and user awareness program for used oils, used glycol (antifreeze), used oil and glycol (antifreeze) containers with a capacity of 50 litres or less (including used lubricant aerosol and brake cleaner containers) and used filters, on behalf of its members.
Electronic Products Recycling Association (EPRA)
The EPRA provides a national electronics end-of-life program for Canada that recognizes the uniqueness of each Provincial Regulation and appropriate stakeholders.
The Used Tire Management Program ensures tires are collected and processed in an environmentally sound manner. This program gives residents a return-to-retailer service so they can properly dispose of used tires. A one-time environmental fee is applied when new tires are purchased.
Product Care Recycling works to protect the environment by providing free recycling locations for consumers to bring products like paint, household hazardous waste, lights and alarms.
The Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB) operates the Used Beverage Container Program and licenses a network of independently owned and operated Green Depots.
