Atlantic Used Oil Management Association

UOMA NL’s mission is to manage an economically, environmentally and socially efficient and responsible collection, processing and user awareness program for used oils, used glycol (antifreeze), used oil and glycol (antifreeze) containers with a capacity of 50 litres or less (including used lubricant aerosol and brake cleaner containers) and used filters, on behalf of its members.

Provide a national electronics end-of-life program for Canada that recognizes the uniqueness of each Provincial Regulation and appropriate stakeholders.

Used Tire Management Program

The Used Tire Management Program ensures tires are collected and processed in an environmentally sound manner. This program gives residents a return-to-retailer service so they can properly dispose of used tires. A one-time environmental fee is applied when new tires are purchased.

Green Depots NL

The Multi-Materials Stewardship Board (MMSB) operates the Used Beverage Container Program and licenses a network of independently owned and operated Green Depots.

Due to conditions from the storm, garbage and recycling collection is cancelled for the week of January 20 to January 24 for all Areas. Excess garbage placed outside of the garbage cart will be collected during the week of January 27 to January 31 for all Areas.
